Wormganix 1 Litre Bucket Premium Worm Castings Vermicompost Organic Moist Fresh
Wormganix
Wormganix Worm castings is the manure created naturally by earthworms. This extraordinary soil is scientifically proven to have incredible benefits such as increased plant growth, soil aeration, moisture retention, natural pest resistance and protection from disease.
Wormganix Worm castings are produced in the UK, 100% Organic, the worms are fed on high quality composted bark, with nothing being added at any point in the process. The worms then produce a rich earthly matter, commonly referred to as Humus or Vermicompost. The castings are then sieved twice to ensure the finest quality worm castings on the market, proven by its light, neutral earthy odour, and dark fluffy appearance
Wormganix Worm castings is a Living product. The castings are moist, fresh and alive. The Beneficial Microbes, fungi and bacteria are a vital ingredient of our product.
Wormganix Worm castings have a higher NPK rating than traditional compost. Nitrogen (N) responsible for plant growth and regeneration, Phosphorous (P) Focuses energy on strong root development and flowers, fruit and seeds Potassium (K) enhances overall growth and keeps the plant balanced and
Healthy. Combined with the healthy mix of trace elements, this makes the perfect natural fertiliser for all plants grown indoors and outdoors.
Wormganix is different to most competing brands, the majority of which are imported and in effect dead when you use them, so you don?t need to use as much of the Wormganix compared to other brands. Always mix with your soil or compost because you are using the worm castings as a fertiliser or a soil conditioner. The 10% Rule will serve you well with Wormganix or to put another way, 1-part Wormganix to 9-parts soil or compost.
House Plants / Cacti / Hanging Baskets
The general rule is to top dress your pots, the watering of the plant then leaches the goodness into the compost, a small handful every month should suffice.
Existing Plants /Shrubs and Trees (including Ericaceous)
Mix or dig in generous handfuls around the base, or Top Dress and then repeat regularly throughout the growing season.
Vegetable Garden
If sowing or planting in rows, lightly cover the entire row before covering with compost. Some types of vegetables prefer a side dressing, meaning dug out rows of covered worm castings adjacent to the plants. Most growers use worm castings at a higher ratio in vegetable plots, up to 25% but we would always recommend little and often.
Propagation /Potting on/Seedlings
You can line the base of your smaller pots or mix into your compost, but it is not recommended to plant or sow directly into pure worm castings due to the high NPK values.
Organic Growers
This is perfect for your Compost tea. Add your worm castings to a porous bag of your choosing and tie the end of the bag. Place the bag of castings in your container of water and leave overnight. In the morning the water should be light brown and that water is your worm tea.
