With a little care, roses can be encouraged to last for many years creating elegant blooms and beautiful scents. To get the best from your roses, a successful care involves applying a specialised rose food that contains well balanced nutrients. Toprose - Britain's best-selling granular rose food - is ideal for your plants. In addition to the essentials Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potash, Toprose also contains Iron and Magnesium to guard against nutrient deficiency and prevent premature leaf drop and discolouring. It is easy to apply, simply sprinkle around roses and shrubs to increase root development and encourage nutrient absorption.

How to use

Application method: 
Granules

Established roses and shrubs: 1. Apply evenly to the soil around the plants and hoe lightly. 2. Keep off stems and leaves. 3. Water if the soil is dry. Only two applications are needed for a complete season’s feeding: First feed – Spring Apply 28g (1oz) – approx. one handful – around each plant when active growth starts. Second feed – Summer Apply 28g (1oz) around each plant after the first flush of flowers has faded. New roses and shrubs: • You can put in bare-rooted plants between late October and March. • The ground must be neither frozen nor waterlogged. • Container-grown plants can be put in at any time of year provided the soil condition is suitable. Bare-rooted plants 1. Dig a hole which is wide enough and deep enough to allow the roots to spread out fully. Average size 60cm across and 25cm deep. 2. Mix one handful of Toprose with the bottom soil. Bud union should be 2.5cm (1”) below the soil level when planting is completed. Container-grown plants 1. Water thoroughly before planting or removing the container. 2. Cut down the side of the container when stood on the base of the hole. 3. Remove this cover very carefully. 4. Mix one handful of Toprose with the bottom soil.

 

Precaution of use

Read label before use. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place. Read label before use. Causes serious eye irritation. Wash contaminated skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: get medical advice / attention. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

Delivery Charges Delivery is free of charge, and free next working day delivery is available on orders over £100, to most UK mainland addresses. For standard delivery we aim to deliver within 5 working days. Any addresses which don't qualify for free delivery will have the delivery charge provided during the checkout process. We do offer a next day delivery option with DHL for only £2.99! Dispatch We aim to dispatch all goods (Monday to Friday) for any order placed before 3pm on the same day. Orders made after this time, or on a Bank Holiday, will be dispatched the next available working day. Delivery Should you not be available upon delivery the courier may; leave the parcel with a neighbour, return the following day or leave the parcel in a 'safe place' on your premises, as per their terms. Ample do not accept any responsibility for parcels left safe should they go missing or become damaged from the choices made by the courier on delivery. Click & Collect Our free click & collect service is available for any order size. When you go to checkout, under 'Delivery method' simply choose the 'Pick up' option. Please provide an email address on your order and we will email you once the order is ready to collect. Monday - Friday we aim to have any click & collect orders ready within 3 hours of them being received. Orders placed on a weekend will be available the next working day. Shortages/Damages on Delivery If any Products are out of stock you will be notified at the earliest opportunity. All Products must be paid for prior to delivery. Risk shall pass on delivery. If there are any shortages on delivery or damage to goods in transit, you should notify Ample Store, a division of TCB Direct at your earliest opportunity, usually within 24 hours of delivery. In the first instance we will endeavour to repair the item if received damaged. Only when the manufacturer advises its unrepairable will we then issue a replacement. ------ RETURNS POLICY If any product is defective in any way or has a fault within 90 days of purchase, a full replacement or refund will be made at no charge. Paints : We can only accept returns on tins of paint that have not been opened or used. Electrical goods: We can only accept returns on electrical goods that have not been opened, used or are faulty within 90 days of purchase. All Other Products: For items which are faulty on receipt, please notify us within 24 hours by e-mail or phone If you find a fault with your product, or in the unlikely event you have been sent the wrong item, please contact us before sending the item back. We send out prepaid returns labels for free returns back to us. Do not simply send your item back without contacting us as we are unable to refund postage costs. Any unwanted items can be returned. These must be unused and unopened. The buyer will be liable for any return postage charges. All refunds will be minus any delivery charge paid if Next day delivery was selected. This relates to the original postage to yourself.
