Miracle-Gro® Autumn Lawn Care helps prepare lawns for the colder months by strengthening the grass and encouraging deeper root development. Its high-potassium formulation helps improve resilience against cold, frost and everyday wear, while added iron controls moss. Nitrogen supports a rapid green-up, helping tired lawns recover after summer and encouraging a healthier, thicker appearance.

How to use
Application by hand
- Apply at a maximum individual rate of 35g per square metre.
- To help judge the correct application rate, measure a small lawn area first and spread the recommended amount evenly across it.
Application by spreader
Miracle-Gro® Autumn Lawn Care can also be applied using a suitable lawn spreader. Select the appropriate spreader setting and distribute the product evenly over the lawn.
When to use
Do not apply during prolonged dry weather, frosty conditions, strong winds or when heavy rain is expected.
Apply when the soil is damp, the grass itself is dry and the lawn is frost-free.
New lawns should only be treated once they are established, normally after approximately three months.
Where to use
Suitable for outdoor use on front and back lawns.
It can be applied around trees growing within the lawn, but avoid contact with foliage. It may also be used where bulbs grow through the lawn once their foliage has naturally died back.
Fertiliser analysis
NPK 6-5-10.

- Wear suitable gardening gloves when handling and applying the product.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Only apply to established lawns. Maximum of 2 treatments per year.
- Apply carefully because contact with hard surfaces, paving, decking, clothing and other materials may cause brown staining.
- Keep children and pets off the treated lawn until the granules have been thoroughly watered in and the grass is completely dry.
- If rain does not fall within 2 days of treatment, water the lawn thoroughly.
- Avoid mowing for approximately 2-3 days before and after treatment.

When will I see results?
Moss should begin to blacken within approximately 7 days. After around 2 weeks, dead moss should be thoroughly raked out of the lawn.
When can I reseed the lawn?
Wait approximately 6 weeks after treatment before overseeding or reseeding bare patches. Suitable weather and soil temperatures are still required for successful germination.
Should I mow before applying?
Avoid mowing for 2-3 days before and after treatment. Do not use the first four mowings after treatment for mulching unless the clippings have first been thoroughly composted for at least 6 months.
Why feed a lawn in autumn?
Summer heat, dry conditions and regular use can place significant stress on a lawn. During autumn, grass naturally shifts its focus towards root development rather than rapid top growth. Stronger roots help the lawn tolerate winter conditions and support healthy new growth the following spring.
Health and Safety
Always read the product label and instructions carefully before use.
This product can cause serious eye irritation. Avoid breathing dust and wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection during handling and application.
If the product enters the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses where present and easy to do, then continue rinsing. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
